And The Paint Goes On...

The dreary brown wall colour that made our livingroom feel like a cave is now no more! The conversion into the light started last Christmas when we painted one of the walls a rich royal blue. That wall now beautifully features our beloved travel pictures.

To make that blue wall pop, we decided to paint the other walls a warm white. Actually, 'we' were the kids and me; we tackled this while hubby was at work. With Daddy's old (and small) dress shirts on, the kids approached the task at hand with gusto.



As an added touch, the hubby painted the heat registers white also and created a Jackson Pollock masterpiece with the blue we used on the feature wall.

We finally finished that on April 14, and we are so happy with the results! The room just isn't the same. It's brighter, warmer, and feels complete.
