On September 8, our son Luc started his first day of nursery school. As all parents know, this is a very bittersweet time when we have to let go and share our baby with the world. A dear friend of ours (who has a great little boy of her own) said that, when they start school, there's a part of them that you must share with the world and never get back again. He's very smart and friendly, and we are so very proud of him. :) We're content that we are leaving him with a great teacher in a great school. And he has his friend Genevieve, who is also starting at that school and is in the same class as him. I asked him yesterday what his friends' names are, and he said, "Ainsley, Arlene, Genevieve,..." When I asked him the names of the boys in his class who are his friends, and he said, "I don't remember." So much like his dad already...
It's almost a month now, and he's already made many friends. As he happily rushes into my arms at the end of his school day, he is sent off by shouts of "Bye Luc! See ya!" from many of his classmates.
