Miranda Goes Swimming

Because the hubby is very busy with his new job, and because we enrolled late, the kids are now taking swim classes during the day. Luc goes on Monday mornings before his afternoon at school (and at Salamander level, he doesn't need a parent in the water with him, so I sit at the sideline with Mims), and Miranda goes on Wednesday afternoons while Luc's at school (she's still at Duck level, so I'm in the water too).

Today, she was so excited to go swimming. But I told her that we had a while to wait, plus we still had to bring her brother to school first. Frustrated, she exclaimed, "Mommy, go to Lucai's school now!" I think she wanted to show off her Curious George swim suit.



She enjoyed her class a lot, and really likes her new teacher. She was a little more willing to try floating on her back this time, but I had to swim fast. She likes going fast.
I think she's the biggest and oldest in her class too. And because I had to lift her out of the water many times, I may have strained my wrist again. I really enjoy the afternoon classes versus the evening classes. Not as busy.
