Visit to Gramma's House

It's been a very busy week. Too busy to blog. But here I am with some new pictures.

As the title states, we went to Gramma's house, and we actually remembered to bring the camera this time. It's always a big event to see Gramma. She always has cookies and the special set of Lego they get to play with. The Lego set was Daddy's when he was a little boy, and they're special because the blocks are smaller than the Duplo blocks they have at home and they have cool things like windows, doors, wheels, and gears too.

Contrary to what you might think, Luc & Miranda don't remember the Lego until they actually get there and see the box. Their gramma is genuinely the main attraction. They shout "Gramma! Gramma!", give her big hugs, Luc starts to tell her about what happened to him that day, then they turn around, see the box and say "Oh, Lego!"

Daddy usually helps the kids with the Lego set while I catch up with Gramma.

The play is often interrupted when the idea of eating cookies is suggested... often by Gramma.

Daddy is then left to play with Lego, while the kids run off with Gramma into the kitchen.

Miranda loves playing with Gramma's stuffed animals, especially when Gramma plays too. Click here to see some great footage of Gramma and Miranda at play.
